We lock every cell that contains a formula or content that cannot change, or else the functionality of the template will break. We do this because as soon as a formula is removed, there is no way to get it back! I would not want the functionality of the template to be permanently changed because of this.
Also, consider changing the layout: if you add a row to an exercise block, that same row would no longer correspond to the program sheet which fills it, so there would be an empty space that would be password protected and unable to be changed. Same issue with adding or removing additional weeks.
Usually a way to accomplish what you are trying to accomplish by using the functions of the template, most of the time it involves entering information in the databases first, then using the dropdowns or athlete selector. If at any point you are confused, please contact us!
